MISH MASH

The video card (yes, the extra strong video card I special-ordered for my new
Mac G5 8 core) busted on Friday. That machine, with all my info and files, is
in the shop getting fixed. So ‘m stuck here with my laptop, which I only use
on location for downloading files and stuff like that.

As a result this week’s post is gonna be a mish mash of news and info that, to
tell you the truth, I was thinking of posting anyway.

STUFF in TONY!

My new web site is a few months old now. I’d been planning all along to have
a gallery in the TONY section called STUFF. It would be a place where I could
throw odds and ends……

Well the new gallery is up now. Go to my website, mouse over TONY and click
STUFF to have a look. I’ll always be adding and subtracting content in there
so check back from time to time (if you have the inclination) to see…..

We Can’t Paint thinks big!

Noel Rodo-Vankeulen, the brains and motivating force over at We Can’t Paint
has hatched a plan. His blog is expanding into an online gallery AND a printed
magazine.

You can get all the submission details here.

If the recent flood of entries over at A Photo Editor (for his free, online folio-
browser thingy) are any indication, Noe’s going to be a busy guy for a while,
pouring over hundreds (probably thousands) of submissions.

Good luck with these projects Noel.

Fouhse on YouTube!

For those who have’t made it deep enough into my website to see the
video……it’s now posted on YouTube and can be seen here with one click
of your mouse.

More video!

There’s an interesting video over at Heather Morton Art Buyer where Derek
Shapton talks a little about a very interesting project he’s working on, namely
photographing the locations from his childhood where some thing or other
happened that left an impression on him. Brilliant work made even more
interesting by the video.

Last 2 things…..

Drool is working on an interview with David Craib. He’s the big guy at Parable
Communications. He sometimes hires photographers and certainly has thoughts
about photographs and their uses. Here’s some of Parable’s work…..

And here’s some pix of Mary R. that I found wallowing in a folder on this laptop.
Mary’s 100 years old. These shots are from an assignment I did for Community
Care a while ago.
