I like to have a project to do over the holidays. This year I’m renovating
my web site.

One of the things I’m going to do with the site is, instead of having a plain-old
BIO, I’m making a VIDEO BIO. Part of it has been shot, the edit is half done
and there’s a little bit of re-shooting we’ll have to do.

The process has been interesting (tho I must admit that it would be WAY more
interesting if the subject wasn’t me).

Making this thing has reminded me why I like still photography so much…..it’s
WAY faster. Plus, I feel more in control. Sitting down at the video-editing suite
feels like going to work, you just know you’re going to be there all friggin’ day,
juggling sound and image and pacing and boring and interesting.

Here’s a few frame grabs of the work in progress…..The web site should be gutted
and renovated by mid-January, which will be the world premiere of this video.

Don’t hold your breath.
