Every so often I get asked to donate my time and services. Fair enough.

I only say “Yes”, though, if I’m down with the cause and I get to shoot the thing
however I want.

Recently I was asked by the folks at Minwaashin Lodge (an Aboriginal Women’s
support centre) to take portraits of children from families who might not otherwise
be able to afford “professional” portrait photography. I jumped at the chance since
I really like taking pix of kids and First Nations issues are close to my heart.

We were at Minwaashin all day Friday. Here’s some of the kids I met……
