SOY FIELD WITH SCIENTIST AND CAR SEAT

What do I know?

Smith Advertising is working on a brochure about the Canadian Auto Industry for
the Japanese market. I’m asked to shoot a scientist in a soy field with a car seat.

Science, soy, seat. Sure.

The stuff we use (and, apparently, sit in) every day comes from somewhere, is
made of stuff, is the result of research and development. Soy and car seats?
What do you know?

We find and secure access to a soy field. Bomb down to Guelph, where it is.
Scout the spot. Get up before dawn the following day. Set up and shoot.

Ten and a half hours driving there and back. The actual shoot took just
over an hour.

I love my job.
