I use the front room upstairs in my house as a studio/workroom.
Now, I love using flash when I shoot. In fact, it almost doesn’t seem like I’m working
if I don’t hear that distinctive “POP†flashes make when I push the shutter button.
But, I thought I’d see what the available light in my studio/workroom looked [...]
I just started shooting a new personal project.
These are early days for this work. I don’t want to say too much about it here
since I’m not sure where it’s going and, to tell the truth, I’m not even sure
what I’ve done with it so far.

Smith Advertising is working on a brochure about the Canadian Auto Industry for
the Japanese market. I’m asked to shoot a scientist in a soy field with a car seat.
Science, soy, seat. Sure.
