I was in the hospital for an operation this past week.

The week before that I spent 3 days in hospitals shooting The Ottawa Hospital annual report.
The day before I went for my operation I needed to shoot another hospital shot for another client’s
annual report. We didn’t have access to a real hospital for this last shot, so we faked one in my studio.

Following are real scenes from my hospital stay (I no longer need tubes coming out of my body to
stay alive. Hooray!) and the fake hospital scene (Lloyd, the model, is fine. Really.)

I was hoping to be able to shoot my actual operation but that was impossible (thank you Sister
Morphine). All I could shoot was the aftermath.

(I have a few more medical hurdles to clear but I sure hope that drool has seen the last of hospital
posts for some time to come. I’m sick of them.)
